About California Adopt-a-Pet Day

CalAnimals, the San Francisco SPCA, and the ASPCA® (The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals®), have teamed up to promote the human-animal bond across California. As a result of this powerful partnership, California Adopt-a-Pet Day has been organized to raise awareness and make pet adoptions affordable and accessible. This event is the outcome of collaboration between leading organizations in animal welfare and aims to help 5,000 animals find loving homes.
