Madera County Introduces New App for Services and Information

This month, Madera County introduced its new phone application, “MadCoServices”, allowing residents to submit service requests right from their fingertips. This is an extension of the County 311 Customer Service Center, providing increased support and transparency to our residents.

311 is an easy-to-remember phone number people can call to obtain up-to-date information on all non-emergency County services. The Madera County 311 Customer Service Center went live on August 1, 2012, and has been serving the public ever since.  Operators provide information, take service requests, and refer callers to local government agencies.  With 311, residents have a single convenient number to call for non-emergency County services.

With the expansion of the MadCoServices App, residents can now quickly request assistance on various issues, including:

  • Animal complaints
  • Code enforcement and other violations
  • Environmental health complaints
  • Road hazards and repair
  • Trash and weeds

When submitting a service request, the App allows the user to provide a photo as well as geo-tag the area of the issue, creating a more accurate and timely response from County staff. Once submitted, issues go directly to the tracking system for Madera County, and the resident is provided a tracking number. Residents are now able to follow up on their submittals and quickly receive an update on the issue.

The MadCoServices App will be available in both the Google Play and Apple App Store. You will also be able to submit and manage issues online at
