Animal Shelter Staff says Thank You!

On behalf of Madera County Animal Service,

Thank you to California Animal Welfare Founders Collaborative for grant funding, which has continued to support Madera County Animal Services in reuniting pets and families, along with providing much medical care to the animal at the shelter!

Thank you to all our constituents for donating much needed shelter items and for donating to the Melissa Howard medical fund! We at the Shelter greatly appreciate your time and consideration! Any little bit goes a long way!

Petco Love and Madera County Animal Services Aim to Stop the Spread of
Deadly Preventable Diseases Through Free Pet Vaccination Event
As Part of Petco Love’s Vaccinated and Loved Initiative to Provide an Additional One Million
Free Pet Vaccines, Madera County Animal Services, Will Host a Vaccine Events, at the Department of Animal Services.

Through this national effort, Madera County Animal Services aims to vaccinate 1,000 pets during the entire campaign. Event details: Madera County Animal Services, 205 Tozer Street, Madera, CA 93638, Drive-through clinic, First-come, first-served basis. Must be a resident of Madera County, all dogs must be on a leash and cats in carriers. Dates will be posted on social media.  

The free vaccines distributed at events through the Petco Love initiative will be the DAPPv Canine and HCP Feline vaccines. Madera County also offers free 24Petwatch microchips with registration and low-cost spay and neuter for Madera County residents.

“Vaccinations are vital to protecting our beloved pets from life-threatening but preventable diseases,” said Susanne Kogut, President of Petco Love. “Our goal is to make these critical vaccines accessible to as many pet parents as possible, breaking down financial barriers and strengthening the human-animal bond.”
