The Friends of Madera Animal Shelter is a non-profit organization that helps raise funds for the Madera County Department of Animal Services in Madera, California.
Some of the programs offered by FMAS are:
Low cost clinic held at the Madera County Fairgrounds, the first Saturday of each month from the hours of 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Vaccines provided are:
- Rabies Vaccine: $10.00
- DHPP / FVRCP: $15.00
- Deworming: $5.00
- Madera Animal Shelter staff with City of Madera Animal Control are on site for County of Madera City of Madera Dog licensing.
Low cost Spay / Neuter vouchers for residents of Madera County.
You will need to provide one of the following programs and your Drivers license or Id to verify county residency.
- Food stamps
- Care / Fera program with PG&E
Your copay cost for the vouchers is:
- $15.00 for each cat voucher.
- $20.00 for each dog voucher.
