Friends of Madera Animal Shelter

fmas logoThe Friends of Madera Animal Shelter is a non-profit organization that helps raise funds for the Madera County Department of Animal Services in Madera, California. 

Some of the programs offered by FMAS are:

Low cost clinic held at the Madera County Fairgrounds, the first Saturday of each month from the hours of 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Vaccines provided are:
  • Rabies Vaccine:      $10.00
  • DHPP / FVRCP:        $15.00
  • Deworming:             $5.00
  • Madera Animal Shelter staff with City of Madera Animal Control are on site for County of Madera  City of Madera Dog licensing.
Low cost Spay / Neuter vouchers for residents of Madera County. 
You will need to provide one of the following programs and your Drivers license or Id to verify county residency. 
  • Food stamps
  • Wic
  • Medi-cal
  • Care / Fera program with PG&E
  • SSI
Your copay cost for the vouchers is: 
  • $15.00 for each cat voucher.
  • $20.00 for each dog voucher.

Our purpose is to eliminate suffering and promote the welfare of dogs through direct action and education. ARF is committed to encouraging the humane treatment of all animals, reducing the number of homeless, and promoting the benefits of the human/animal bond.
