About our Services:
Behavioral Health Services offers mental health and substance abuse prevention and treatment services to Madera County youth and their families.
Youth experiencing a mental health challenge may receive services from one of our specialized programs, including:
- Outpatient Services
- Infants and children 0-5 years
- Youth involved in the Juvenile Justice System
- Youth and Families involved with the Child Welfare System

What to expect when you call for services:
- Begin by calling our ACCESS LINE at (559)395-0451 or toll free at 1(888) 275-9779.
- When you call, we will ask about your concerns. You will then be given an appointment for an evaluation that will help us better understand your needs.
- Prepare yourself for the appointment by making a list of concerns and questions to discuss with the mental health professional.
- Also prepare documents such as your Social Security and Medi-Cal cards, current address, phone number, and any case information if you are being referred from another agency . You will be seen regardless of your ability to pay.
- Go to your appointment. Bring your related documents.
- At your appointment, you will meet with a mental health professional that will connect you to the programs or services that best address your needs. You may receive treatment and/or referrals to community partners.
