Food Safety and Consumer Protection Program
The Madera County Environmental Health Division Food Safety and Consumer Protection Program consist of the following programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations to protect the health, safety, and wellbeing of the citizens of Madera County.
- Food Program, including but not limited to restaurants, bars, bed and breakfasts, school cafeterias, caterers, grocery/liquor stores, cottage food operations, mobile food facilities, community events, and farmer’s markets
- Recreational Health Program, including but not limited to public swimming pools, spas, and water parks
- Detention facilities, shelters, and organized camps
