Water Well Program Update
On October 6, 2017 Governor Brown signed Senate Bill (SB) 252 which became effective on January 1, 2018 to assist in the governance of water sustainability. SB 252 now requires local jurisdictions located in a critically overdrafted basin to make available all new water well applications for public review.
If you would like to be included on an email list for notification, please contact Madera County Environmental Health Division.
