Madera County Geographic Information System (GIS) is a County enterprise solution. The Geographic Information System (GIS) through ESRI is the mapping solution used for all of the geospatial data processes in the County. The GIS management system is utilized in a vast number of ways to provide efficient method of gathering, managing, and analyzing data. It provides the best method for analyzing spatial location and organizes our county layers of information into virtualization using maps that represent the County of Madera. These maps provide critical information used in making analytical decisions and solve complex problems. The primary maps such as Parcels and Streets along with many other layers are centralized and managed by GIS.
