The Madera County Library welcomes volunteers at all our libraries.  Volunteers help us in many ways.  We try to match skills and interests of volunteers with specific tasks.  Below is a sample list.  We are always open to new ideas in which to help; so please let us know. 

• Tutoring - (MALCO (Oakhurst), afterschool homework, literacy/ grade level reading, computer literacy)
• Shelving (putting away library materials)
• Processing (preparing new materials)
• Mending (book repair)
• Enrichment Programming/Events (helping prepare for, work at, advertise, data collection) 

If interested in volunteering, please print or visit your local Madera County Library to complete the Volunteer Application (Link) and submit to the library you wish to volunteer at. 

Volunteer applications are subject to Branch Assistant and Library Director discretion.
