The Madera County Dept. of Public Health can offer businesses operating in Madera County assistance in sourcing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) through the MHOAC. 

The Medical Health Operational Area Coordinator (MHOAC) is considered a resource of last resort.  Please conduct a thorough search of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) through private and commercial vendors before requesting assistance.

If after searching PPE cannot be sourced, the MHOAC can help.  PPE is invoiced at current market cost or less, depending on the source & availability (For example, state supplied PPE is free, but not always available).

The Public Health Medical Health Operational Area Coordinator (MHOAC) is part of the State of California Disaster Medical Response Plan.  The MHOAC is responsible for coordination of activities to assure management of medical and health resources and reporting during times of extraordinary emergency or disaster.
