Once temperatures hit the 90's, swimming season is right around the corner. Drowning is one of the top causes of death in children every year, and it can happen fast.  Below are tips to help keep water safety in mind:

  • Watch kids when they are in or near water - NEVER leave your child unattended
  • Empty all tubs, buckets, containers, and kiddie pools immediately after use
  • Close toilet lids and use toilet seat locks to prevent drowning
  • Install fences around home pools
  • Learn CPR and basic water rescue skills
