The Department of Social Services has received funding for The Local Aging & Disability Action Plan (LADAP). Collaborating with SDSU Center for Excellence in Aging & Longevity, the Department aims to develop action plan that enhance the livability of the community and cater to the present and future requirements of Madera's elderly, individuals with disabilities, and caregivers. The objectives of the LADAP grant program are in harmony with California's Master Plan for Aging (MPA) and the state's dedication to diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility.
