We are pleased to inform you that Madera County has partnered with Easy Smart Pay to offer taxpayers a new option for managing their current secured and current supplemental property tax payments.
Program Overview:
Easy Smart Pay provides a convenient platform for taxpayers to make monthly payments toward their current secured and current supplemental property taxes. This new program benefits taxpayers who prefer to budget their payments in smaller, manageable installments and do not have an impound or escrow account.
Taxpayer Benefits:
- Allows taxpayers to budget property taxes in smaller, manageable monthly payments.
- Easy Smart Pay allows you to enroll multiple properties, even if they are located in different counties, as long as those counties are partnered with Easy Smart Pay.
- Ensures timely remittance of property taxes before the due date.
- Provides a user-friendly online platform with autopay options for convenience.
How It Works:
- Taxpayers enroll in Easy Smart Pay and set up monthly payments via ACH or credit card.
- Easy Smart Pay collects these monthly payments from taxpayers.
- Before each tax installment deadline, Easy Smart Pay remits the full tax payment directly to the County on behalf of the taxpayer.
Fees:
- ACH/E-Check: No processing fee.
- Credit Card: 1.99% processing fee.
